How to Send Photos, GIFs, and Reactions

Use these instructions when the Room owner has enabled the relevant content type.

Steps

  1. To react, open the reaction control on a message and choose an emoji.
  2. To send a GIF, open GIF search, choose a result, and send it.
  3. In a Reserved Room that allows photos, open the photo control and select a supported image.
  4. Wait for the upload or send confirmation before navigating away.

What should happen

The reaction or allowed media appears in the Room conversation.

Common problems

  • Owners can disable GIFs or photos.
  • Photos are disabled in normal Temporary Rooms.
  • Unsupported, oversized, or safety-blocked images may be rejected.
  • GIF availability depends on the GIF provider.
