Theater
Theater is a Reserved Room area for sharing supported videos while participants remain connected to the Room. Verified public providers include YouTube, Vimeo, and Twitch. Some additional direct or preview cases may work, but not every video website is supported.
Participants with Theater access can use the shared playback controls available to them. Playback state is coordinated where the provider and browser allow it, but JoinRooms does not promise frame-perfect synchronization. Provider restrictions may block embedding or require a person to press play.
Music
Music is a Reserved Room area for supported links from YouTube, SoundCloud, and Spotify. Spotify or another provider may require sign-in, and the provider controls what can play.
Browser autoplay rules often require participant interaction before audio begins. Room settings and role controls may limit who can add or control media.
Move between areas
Main Room, Theater, and Music are areas inside the same Room. Moving to another area keeps you connected to the Room. Unread indicators help show activity elsewhere; exact playback and background behavior still depends on the browser and provider.
