Acceptance and accountless participation

By using JoinRooms, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Ordinary participation does not require a JoinRooms account. A Room name, nickname, password, invitation, or owner credential does not establish a verified legal identity.

Temporary Rooms

Temporary Rooms are provided for casual or short-term use. Normal creation requires a password. A Temporary Room does not create a permanent claim to its name, content, history, availability, or continued operation. Temporary Rooms may display advertising.

Reserved Room subscriptions

A Reserved Room currently costs $19.99 per year, subject to final checkout confirmation. The Room name is held while the subscription remains active and the Room complies with these Terms.

Renewal timing, cancellation, taxes, refund eligibility, and payment-provider terms should be presented during checkout or subscription management. A Reserved Room is not a lifetime purchase. Room-name availability is not guaranteed before successful reservation.

Room ownership and authority

Owners and authorized managers can use available access, settings, moderation, and Room-ending controls. Role authority is limited by the product's hierarchy. Keep the Owner PIN private. JoinRooms does not guarantee recovery of every lost Room credential or owner session.

User-generated content

You are responsible for content you submit, share, or make available through a Room. You must have the rights and permissions needed for that content. You grant JoinRooms the limited rights necessary to transmit, process, store, moderate, and display it to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Do not upload or share content that violates law, another person's rights, these Terms, or the Community Guidelines.

Third-party media and services

GIFs, Theater, Music, advertising, payments, notifications, and other features can depend on third parties. JoinRooms does not host third-party media and does not guarantee its availability, accuracy, legality, synchronization, or provider behavior. Third-party terms and privacy policies may apply.

Prohibited activity

• Illegal activity, threats, harassment, stalking, or exploitation
• Child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, or any sexual exploitation of minors
• Non-consensual intimate or private material, doxxing, or privacy violations
• Malware, phishing, scams, fraud, spam, or deceptive impersonation
• Bypassing Room access controls, bans, rate limits, or security measures
• Attacking, disrupting, overloading, scraping contrary to controls, or reverse engineering where prohibited by law
• Using media features to infringe copyright or distribute harmful content

Moderation, suspension, and termination

Room managers may moderate their Rooms. JoinRooms may investigate reports and restrict content, participants, devices, Rooms, Reserved Room privileges, or service access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or the service, respond to legal requirements, or address security risks.

Burn Room ends the active Room for current participants; it does not guarantee erasure of every copy everywhere. Ending a live Reserved Room is separate from its subscription status.

Intellectual property

JoinRooms and its original software, branding, design, and site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer JoinRooms ownership to users. Rights in user content remain subject to the user's rights and the operating license described above.

Service availability and changes

JoinRooms may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features or access. Availability, compatibility, message delivery, history retention, media playback, notifications, session restoration, and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JoinRooms is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, complete security, or error-free operation. Limitations of liability, warranty exclusions, indemnity, governing law, dispute resolution, and consumer-rights language require formal legal review for the operator's jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

These Terms may be updated, with the displayed date identifying the current version. Questions may be sent through Contact JoinRooms. The Community Guidelines provide a plain-language conduct summary.
