How to Use Main Room, Theater, and Music

Main Room is available for conversation; Theater and Music are optional Reserved Room areas.

Steps

  1. Use Main Room for the everyday conversation.
  2. In a Reserved Room, choose Theater to open the supported video area.
  3. Add or open a supported link when Room settings and your role allow it.
  4. Choose Music for supported YouTube, SoundCloud, or Spotify links.
  5. Use unread indicators to notice activity in another area.
  6. Return to Main Room whenever you want.

What should happen

You move between areas while remaining connected to the same Room.

Common problems

  • Provider rules can block an embed.
  • Autoplay may require you to press play.
  • Spotify may require provider sign-in.
  • Playback is coordinated where possible but is not guaranteed to be frame-perfect.
