How to Join a JoinRooms Room

Use these steps when someone has invited you to an existing Room.

Steps

  1. Open JoinRooms or the invitation you received.
  2. Enter the Room name if it is not already filled in.
  3. Enter the Room password when required.
  4. Choose the nickname you want people to see.
  5. Press Join. If the Room uses knock entry, wait for approval.

What should happen

You enter the Main Room and can join the conversation.

Common problems

  • Check the spelling and capitalization of the Room name.
  • Ask the inviter whether the password has changed.
  • A knock can expire or require an eligible person to be present inside.
  • A Room that ended may no longer be available.
