How to Install JoinRooms on a Phone or Computer

Installation is available through supporting browsers and operating systems; JoinRooms is not represented here as a native app-store application.

Steps

  1. Open JoinRooms in a modern browser.
  2. Open the browser menu or installation prompt.
  3. Choose Install, Add to Home Screen, or the equivalent browser option.
  4. Confirm the name and placement.
  5. Open JoinRooms from the new shortcut or installed-app window.

What should happen

JoinRooms opens in an app-like window or from a home-screen shortcut on supported devices.

Common problems

  • The option name and location vary by browser.
  • Some browsers or managed devices do not offer installation.
  • Refreshing an installed PWA may be needed after a site update.
  • Installation does not guarantee that every session can be restored.
