By accessing or using JoinRooms, you agree to these Terms of Use.

JoinRooms is a private chat platform designed for temporary conversations, private Rooms, and small-group communication.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Using JoinRooms

You are responsible for how you use JoinRooms and for any content you share through the service.

• Do not use JoinRooms to violate any law.
• Do not threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse others.
• Do not share illegal, harmful, or exploitative content.
• Do not share, solicit, promote, obtain, or attempt to distribute child sexual abuse material, child exploitation content, grooming, trafficking, or any content or behavior that harms or exploits minors.
• Do not distribute malware, phishing links, scams, or fraudulent content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

JoinRooms maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, grooming, trafficking, or content that promotes, depicts, solicits, or facilitates harm involving minors.

Any user found engaging in, sharing, soliciting, promoting, attempting to distribute, or attempting to obtain such material or behavior may be permanently banned without warning.

Users may not upload, request, send, trade, or distribute nude, sexual, or sexually suggestive images or videos of anyone under 18, including themselves. This rule applies even if the content was self-created or shared between minors.

JoinRooms reserves the right to preserve and report related content, account information, IP addresses, metadata, and communications to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, and any applicable local, state, federal, or international authorities.

If you believe a child or any person is in immediate danger, or if you believe a crime is occurring, contact local emergency services or local law enforcement first. Reports submitted through JoinRooms are not a substitute for contacting authorities in an emergency.

We will fully cooperate with investigations and comply with lawful requests to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Protecting children is not optional. It is a non-negotiable condition of using this platform.

Rooms, Passwords, and Access

Rooms are created and managed by users.

Room names, passwords, invite links, nicknames, Room descriptions, and welcome messages are created by users and are their responsibility.

You are responsible for sharing Room access only with people you trust.

Reserved Rooms

JoinRooms may provide Reserved Room functionality that allows users to claim and retain ownership of specific Room names.

Reserved Room ownership is subject to the security features provided by JoinRooms, including Owner PIN verification and other ownership controls.

JoinRooms reserves the right to revoke, transfer, suspend, or remove Reserved Rooms when necessary to protect the service, resolve disputes, address abuse, or comply with legal requirements.

Room Owners

Room owners are responsible for managing access to their Rooms.

Owners may:

• Protect a Room with additional controls.
• Approve or deny knocks.
• Escort participants from a Room.
• Ban participants from a Room.
• Transfer ownership.
• Burn a Room.
• Customize Room settings available through the platform.

JoinRooms is not responsible for disputes between Room owners and participants.

Temporary Communication

JoinRooms is intended for temporary communication.

Do not rely on JoinRooms as permanent storage for messages, files, records, or important information.

Rooms, messages, and Room-related data may be modified, removed, archived, or become unavailable without notice.

Service Availability

JoinRooms is provided on an "as available" basis.

Features may change, break, pause, be removed, or become unavailable at any time.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

Abuse and Enforcement

JoinRooms may investigate abuse reports, security incidents, violations of these Terms, or unlawful activity.

We may remove content, suspend Rooms, restrict access, ban devices, revoke Reserved Rooms, or take any other action reasonably necessary to protect JoinRooms, its users, or the public.

Intellectual Property

JoinRooms, its branding, logos, design elements, and software remain the property of their respective owners.

Use of the service does not grant ownership rights to any JoinRooms intellectual property.

No Warranty

JoinRooms is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JoinRooms and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of communications, service interruptions, disputes between users, or unauthorized access to information.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
