Unlike many communication platforms, JoinRooms does not require user accounts, profiles, followers, friend lists, or public social feeds.

Our goal is to provide temporary, private, password-protected Rooms that are easy to create, easy to share, and easy to leave.

By using JoinRooms, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

JoinRooms collects only the information necessary to operate the service.

• Room names created by users
• Room descriptions created by owners
• Nicknames entered by users
• Password verification data used to access Rooms
• Reserved Room ownership information and Owner PIN verification data
• Basic technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, device information, and connection logs
• Information submitted through abuse reports or contact requests

Messages and Conversations

JoinRooms is intended for temporary communication.

Messages are encrypted before leaving your device and are relayed between participants in a Room.

JoinRooms is designed so that message content is encrypted during transmission and conversation history is limited in scope and duration.

Users should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information, passwords, financial information, or other confidential data through any online service.

Cookies and Local Storage

JoinRooms uses browser storage technologies, including local storage, to improve the user experience.

Abuse Prevention and Security

For reports or evidence involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, grooming, trafficking, or harm involving minors, JoinRooms may preserve and report related content, account information, IP addresses, metadata, and communications to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, and any applicable local, state, federal, or international authorities.

If you believe a child or any person is in immediate danger, or if you believe a crime is occurring, contact local emergency services or local law enforcement first. JoinRooms reports are not a substitute for emergency or law enforcement reporting.

We will cooperate with investigations and comply with lawful requests to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Services

JoinRooms relies on third-party hosting providers, infrastructure services, security providers, and related technologies to operate the platform.

These providers may process technical information as part of delivering their services.

Children's Privacy

JoinRooms is not directed toward children under the age of 13. Users under 13 should obtain parents/legal guardian consent before use of this site.
